Choose average cost or FIFO. Hold your accounts as general, margin, retirement, tax-free wrapper or company. Then export a complete, neutral record — every disposal, every distribution, every fee — for your own accountant to apply your own rules to.
38 currencies, with your own rate on every trade date. Outside Canada and the US, Holdfast applies no country's tax rules or forms — it gives your accountant the record they need, which is the part that's tedious to reconstruct. Prices come from the provider you choose; your figures come from your own entries, so a thinly covered exchange never breaks your record.
